A typical problem with the Windows operating system is that it slows down over time. One of the main reasons for this is that programs installed by the user are almost never completely uninstalled.
Most programs do not provide enough information for the Windows "Add / Remove Programs" tool to be able to remove them properly. This fact slows down the computer over time.
